LC-39B · Kennedy Space Center · 2026
Launcher: SLS Block 1. Mission: Artemis II.
Pad 39B is the twin of 39A, a little under 3 km to its north. Apollo 10 left from it in 1969, then the three Skylab crews and the Apollo–Soyuz flight.
Shuttles flew from it from 1986 to 2006. Rebuilt without fixed towers for the Space Launch System, whose mobile launcher brings its own, it launched Artemis I in 2022 and the Artemis II crew in 2026.
