SLC-4E · Vandenberg · 2021
Launcher: Falcon 9. Mission: DART.
Space Launch Complex 4 East, at Vandenberg on the California coast, launched Atlas and Titan rockets for the US Air Force until 2005. From there, rockets fly south over the Pacific into polar orbits.
SpaceX has flown Falcon 9 from it since 2013. DART, NASA's first planetary defence test, left from here in November 2021.
