Starbase · Boca Chica · 2028
Launcher: Starship. Mission: Artemis IV.
Starbase, at Boca Chica on the Texas coast, is where SpaceX builds and launches Starship. Its orbital launch mount holds the Super Heavy booster over a steel plate cooled by a water deluge.
Its tower stacks the ship on the booster with two mechanical arms, and catches the booster as it comes back. The first full Starship flew from here in April 2023.
