Crew Dragon
SpaceX's capsule for four astronauts, launched on a Falcon 9 and docking to the International Space Station on its own. Eight SuperDraco engines built into its sides can pull the crew clear of a failing rocket, and it returns under four parachutes to a splashdown at sea. Since its first crewed flight in 2020 it has carried NASA's rotation crews, including Crew-9 aboard Freedom, and private missions.
